• mapbox-expr-lang — Designed and built a small programming language that turns readable code into the JSON map-styling rules Mapbox expects — published on npm, with a live playground.
• Mini Cloud Architecture — Built a self-hosted, production-style HA infrastructure from scratch — load balancing, redundant servers, automatic database failover — and proved it survives real failures.
• Research Portal — Built a web platform for publishing and discovering research papers, with an AI chatbot that answers questions about each paper.
• Multitasking Scheduling Algorithm Simulation System — Built a GUI tool that simulates and visually compares 8 different ways an operating system can schedule processes.
• Gender Classification — Adience — Trained a deep-learning model to recognize gender from real-world facial photos, with a teammate.
• flowBoard — Built a full project-management tool from scratch: workspaces, Kanban boards, sprints, and a stats dashboard, with email-based team invites.
• RoadStar Hotel — Built a hotel booking website from scratch — no framework — with a guided booking flow for guests and a live analytics dashboard for staff.
• Fuzzy Logic Obstacle Avoidance for a Mobile Robot — Reimplemented a peer-reviewed robotics paper from scratch: a fuzzy-logic controller that steers a simulated robot around obstacles, with every step of its reasoning visible live in the browser.
• Evolving Artwork with Genetic Algorithms — Built a browser tool that reconstructs any photo out of a few dozen translucent polygons using a genetic algorithm — no neural network, just evolution and a fitness function.
• VortexSphere — Wrote a small C graphics program that simulates a glowing, swirling energy sphere and renders it straight to a video file — no video editor involved.
• 8-Puzzle Solver — AI Search Visualizer — Built a desktop app that visualizes how different AI search strategies solve the classic sliding-tile puzzle, and compares how much work each one does.
